By accessing and using the DBS University platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. General Overview

• DBS University is an online education platform that provides courses, training modules, quizzes, and certifications.
• These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of all content, services, and tools provided by DBS University.
• The term “User” includes both Students and Instructors.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to register.
• For users under 18, parental consent is required and must be verifiable.

3. User Accounts

• You must create an account to access course content or offer courses.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update it when necessary.

4. Course Enrollment & Usage

For Students:

• Upon enrollment, you receive a limited, non-transferable license to access the course for personal learning only.
• Redistribution, resale, screen-recording, or sharing of course content is strictly prohibited.
• Completion of a course does not guarantee employment or certification recognition unless explicitly stated.

For Instructors:

• You retain intellectual property rights over your uploaded content but grant DBS University a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, distribute, and promote your course.
• You must ensure all course content complies with applicable copyright, trademark, and data protection laws.
• You are responsible for course accuracy, legality, and any claims related to false or misleading information.

5. Intellectual Property

• All content on DBS University, including but not limited to design, graphics, logos, and platform features, are owned or licensed by Divergent Business Systems Pvt. Ltd.
• Unauthorized use or duplication is strictly prohibited.

6. Payments and Refunds

• Courses may be free or paid. All prices are listed in USD (or other currencies as applicable).
• Refunds are only provided in cases of technical issues or enrollment errors and must be requested within 7 days of purchase.
• No refund will be entertained for completed or partially completed courses.

7. Certificate Issuance and Validation

• Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of all modules and assessments.
• DBS University does not guarantee recognition of certificates by third parties unless specified.
• Falsification or misuse of certificates may lead to legal action.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Harass, abuse, or impersonate others
• Upload malware, viruses, or any malicious code
• Use the platform for illegal or unethical purposes
• Misrepresent qualifications or identity

9. Content Monitoring & Moderation

• DBS University reserves the right to review, remove, or restrict content that violates these terms or harms the reputation and operation of the platform.
• Any complaint received regarding abusive, unethical, or infringing content will be investigated and may lead to immediate removal and account suspension.

10. Disclaimers

• DBS University provides its services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
• We do not guarantee that courses will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from your use of the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• DBS University shall not be held liable for any personal injury, data loss, missed opportunities, or reputational harm caused due to platform usage.
• We do not assume responsibility for disputes between instructors and students.

12. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account violating our terms without notice.
• Upon termination, access to courses and platform features may be permanently revoked.

13. Changes to Terms

• These Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice.
• Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes agreement to the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
